Concept & Inspiration: The Chimera
The Meaning: The watch explores the idea of "union through material." The name Chimera refers to the mythological creature composed of different animals.
Venetian Connection: It draws a cultural parallel to the Winged Lion of St. Mark (Venice's symbol), which is itself a chimera—a figure composed of different natures unified into a single form.
The Highlight: Iron Tiger Dial
The dial is the centerpiece of this watch, embodying the concept of fusion.
Material: It is crafted from Iron Tiger, a composite stone formed by the natural merger of three distinct minerals: Tiger’s Eye, Red Jasper, and Hematite.
Aesthetics: The combination creates a unique surface featuring intense reds, dark veins, and metallic golden highlights.
Craftsmanship: Artisans select slabs with the best balance of grain and contrast. These are thinned to just 0.4 mm and polished to define the separation between the ferrous red and golden layers. Because it is a natural stone, each dial is unique.
Movement & Custom Rotor
Caliber: Powered by the Swiss Made Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement.
Decoration: It features a custom skeletonized rotor with radial Côtes de Genève finishing. Notably, the rotor undergoes a 3N red gold galvanic treatment to match the warm color scheme of the Iron Tiger dial.
