ARISTO wins German Design Award
The Pforzheim company ARISTO received the German Design Award 2024 for the pilot’s watch “Burnished Aviator 43”.

This high award for a product was already successful in 2017 and has now been repeated for 2024. “We are pleased about the renewed award. Good ideas have become rare, so it is a great honor for me and my team to receive the award,” says Managing Director Hansjörg Vollmer.

The Special Features of the "Burnished Navigator"
The special aspect of the “Burnished Navigator” lies in the surface of the watch case and the dial design.

In ARISTO's metal bracelet factory, an old process for hardening and tempering steel is used to refine the watch cases. This technology, derived from tool making, enhances the housings both visually and technically. The watch cases are made of burnished stainless steel, representing an absolute novelty in the watch sector. A slightly brown patina with a matt finish makes these watch models true eye-catchers. All watches in this version feature a sandblasted cone crown made of stainless steel. A sapphire crystal at the top is standard.

Despite its 43 mm size, the watch also fits smaller wrists thanks to a clever design trick. The lugs are positioned close to the case and are only wide enough for a 20 mm watch strap, which increases wearing comfort.
