To celebrate its 75th anniversary, Orient Star presents this limited edition M45 F8 Mechanical Moon Phase Hand Winding from the Classic Collection M45. The M45 collection is inspired by the Pleiades star cluster and is designed around the eternal passage of time.


[The Moon Drifting Through Clouds]

The black dial uses nanoparticle metal multilayering technology to show the moon drifting through clouds, with rich shading and colour.


[New Three-Layer Moon Phase]

The moon phase display at 6 o'clock has a new three-layer construction:

・a lustrous metal plate scattered with stars against a night sky

・a mother-of-pearl moon plate

・a moon phase drive wheel

The natural iridescence of the mother-of-pearl gives the moon a soft glow.


[In-House Calibre F8A62]

・Power reserve of over 70 hours

・In-house developed silicon escape wheel

・Accuracy of +15 to -5 seconds per day
